Developments

National and global developments in RHD education are continually impacting upon supervisory practices. We have gathered information relating to:

1. Global developments: discusses international trends affecting RHD education and changes that are occurring in response.

2. National developments: outlines trends occurring throughout Australia which affects RHD education.

3. Research education: offers an overview of work on RHD education.

4. Institutional quality assurance: draws attention to external checks on the quality of the University, and discuss the Codes of Practice, and benchmarks that apply to our work with students. We stress, however, an individual approach, whereby supervisors strive to assure the quality of their own supervision and a collective approach which encourages peer review and collegial forms of development support.
